The Ukraine crisis could lead to a 22% increase in food costs that will directly impact Tigray’s ongoing famine.
Aid workers need fuel and road access to deliver food to those starving and medical supplies to women subjected to sexual violence.
As these crises worsen, improved diplomatic engagement with international powers is crucial. The world must establish strict, uniform conditions to remove sanctions on Ethiopia if the government allows unfettered humanitarian access.
