The United Nations has designated Feb. 20 a World Day of Social Justice. Here at Jewish World Watch, we appreciate the recognition of this important type of work, but we also see it as a sad reminder of how much healing the world still needs.
Across the globe you’ll still find civilians who are attacked purely because of who they are, and innocent bystanders who must survive war, famine and other mass atrocities inflicted by their own governments. We must be unceasing in our vigilance and irrepressible in our desire to make a difference.[su_spacer size=”10″]
There are so many ways you can help. Try these for starters:[su_spacer size=”20″]
- Join the 2018 Walk to End Genocide. With events in Los Angeles on April 22 and the Conejo Valley on May 6, there are two opportunities to support Jewish World Watch’s work and raise awareness about mass atrocities taking place around the world right now.

- Demand that your members of Congress act to prevent future crimes against humanity by cosponsoring the Elie Wiesel Genocide and Atrocities Prevention Act, and urge them to cosponsor legislation to protect Myanmar’s Rohingya community, a minority currently being subjected to ethnic cleansing.

We are responsible to look after and protect one another. Please join us in this world-changing work so that social justice isn’t just a once-a-year activity.
