It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Malkah Schulweis, a life force for her beautiful family, for the Valley Beth Shalom community and Jewish World Watch.
Malkah was a brilliant woman with extraordinary intellect and was a critical part of our work at Jewish World Watch. While she was always dedicated to our mission of not standing idly by in the face of genocide and bringing life-saving aid to survivors, her work on our board took on special meaning in the aftermath of our co-founder, Rabbi Schulweis’ passing. At that time, Malkah redoubled her commitment, never missing a board meeting and always contributing mightily. Her intelligence and wisdom added immeasurably to the growth and vigor of Jewish World Watch and our fight against the scourge of genocide.
Malkah leaves an amazing legacy. Her depth, her elegance, her wisdom, her intelligence, her compassion, and her beauty are unparalleled; we have been enriched immeasurably by her life. Malkah Schulweis’ memory will be a blessing and an inspiration for all of us at Jewish World Watch.
