Tammy oversees Jewish World Watch’s strategic advocacy, public policy, grantee partnerships, communications, and the forced labor database. Prior to joining Jewish World Watch, Tammy led the Jewish Council for Public Affairs’ civil and human rights policy programs and advocacy strategy. Her primary areas of expertise are genocide and mass atrocities with a focus on the Global South, armed conflict, asylum and refugee policy, international human rights, and criminal justice reform and policing.
Before moving to New York, Tammy served as an aide in U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein’s office for three years, where she covered climate change, energy, science, and transportation policy. Tammy also spent several years in campaign consulting, specializing in strategic messaging and voter data analysis, and in field organizing for President Obama’s campaigns in Nevada (2008) and Florida (2012), as well as for several state and local campaigns.
A California native, Tammy graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Political Science and Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
