A passionate change agent, Jill has worked across the United States and abroad in the nonprofit, for profit, social, political, and public sectors having served as executive director, chief operating officer, philanthropic advisor and other key roles. Ms. Hoyt has extensive experience facilitating strategic plans, designing programs, and creating infrastructure for both large, established organizations as well as emerging organizations undergoing periods of transition and growth. Additionally, she is an expert facilitator working with boards and other stakeholder communities to hold space for difficult to have conversations.
Jill’s career highlights include serving as the Foreign Media Spokesperson for the Mayor of Jerusalem, Israel; as the Marketer-in-Residence for an early stage venture capital firm in Los Angeles during the dot.com era; and currently as the CEO of JH Strategies, a nonprofit and philanthropic advisory consulting firm. She holds both a Masters in Public Administration and Masters in Urban Planning from University of Southern California.
Hoyt lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two daughters and their gorgeous dog, Jerry. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, yoga and running or rollerblading while listening to a variety of podcasts or music of nearly any genre. Her happy place is with her family and out in nature, on the water, preferably on a kayak or stand-up paddleboard.
