Christopher Hendrix is a 2023 graduate of California State University Dominguez Hills, with Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science and Psychology, with a minor in Public Administration. Throughout his college career, he was a leading student advocate on his campus, both academically and socially. He proudly represented his campus in a public service announcement for Mental Health Action Day in conjunction with VP Kamala Harris. He also participated in various academic programs as a fellow, namely a Dymally Fellow, College Corps Fellow, and UCLA Anderson Forecast Fellow. Through the Anderson Forecast, he has conducted research on gentrification and the analysis of variables that cause communities to gentrify.
He has extensive experience in international education, traveling to various regions of the world and engaging in both cultural and academic excursions, aimed at making him an informed global citizen. Through this, his deep appreciation for multiculturalism informs his advocacy in mental health spaces. He enjoys reading, traveling, and engaging with mental health advocacy in his free time. He aims to utilize his quantitative skills to improve database functioning for public knowledge and to raise awareness against injustices both domestically and abroad.
