It has been 15 years since Rabbi Harold M. Schulweis (z”l) and I founded Jewish World Watch in an effort to live up to the vow to not stand idly by.
As long as extreme violence persists throughout the world, we will be there to support the vulnerable.
We will provide Rohingya children living in refugee camps with housing and education.
We will teach Darfuri refugees living in camps in Chad sustainable farming techniques that provide food.
We will fund programs to help rape victims in Congo recover from their trauma and education programs in order to develop peaceful leaders for tomorrow’s Congo.
And we will continue our partnerships with innovative and extraordinary local partners like Nobel Peace Price Laureate Dr. Denis Mukwege.
